Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device and store certain information about your preferences or past actions.

2. Cookies During the Pre-launch Period

The pre-launch website places one cookie on your device: an essential security cookie. You can browse every page and join our waiting list without any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

Security cookie (__cf_bm): our site is delivered through Cloudflare, a network that shields it from automated abuse. Cloudflare sets this cookie to tell real visitors apart from malicious bots. It expires after about 30 minutes and is not used to track you across sites.
No sign-in cookies: accounts are not yet available, so no authentication cookies exist.
No analytics or advertising cookies: our analytics provider, Plausible, is cookie-free by design and sets no cookies on your device. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used anywhere on the site.
Local storage: a small number of preferences are kept in your browser's local storage on your device: your light/dark theme choice, and, if you use our breathing exercises, whether the breathing chime sound is on or off. These preferences never leave your browser and are not sent to us.

Because the security cookie is strictly necessary, it is exempt from cookie-consent requirements, which is why our site doesn't show a cookie banner.

When the full service launches, signing in will require an essential authentication cookie, and our payment provider will use cookies for fraud prevention during checkout. We will update this policy before those features go live.
